Half Way There

41. Queen of Everything by Deb Caletti This book was really powerful, but pretty dark as well. It's about a girl whose father kills someone. You watch the journey of the father slowly changing. Anyway it really pulled me in, and was well-written but the subject matter was dark.

42. Something, Maybe by Elizabeth Scott. I got this with my birthday gift card since my library does not have most of her books. I really, really liked it. Keep thinking about it. It's a love story, but deeper than fluff stuff.

43. Bloom by Elizabeth Scott. She has a different way of looking at things in her love story. It's a different perspective and in some ways similar to her book The Unwritten Rule. Worth reading.

44. Stealing Heaven by Elizabeth Scott. I enjoyed this, though I didn't think I would at first. Good story about the power of choice and the ability to change.

45. Pure by Terra Elan McVoy---Interesting about purity rings, choosing to keep your virginity and the affects of sex in high school. It was heavy handed in some points, but overall a fresh take on the whole choosing to stay a virgin issue. Something I'm all for.

46. Living Hell by Catherine Jinx YA sci fi--interesting

47. The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen I must say that I've enjoyed all of her books that I've read. She has a total of three out. And I've read them all this year, so just check out my other posts. This is by far the best. I'm currently rereading it. The writing is superb. When I read this for enjoyment it pops and it's wonderful. When I read it as a writer, I'm just swept away. It's a book that you must read. Truly must. I'd love to write as well as she does. I'm going to buy it and all of her others, and they will have a place on my bookshelves.

48. Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce--I enjoyed it and have got her other books on hold for me at the library. YA fantasy, similar feel to Robin McKinley--so Sarah you may like her a lot. She has several quartets so be sure to look her op before you check out a book

49. Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles Totally good. So I really like her books, and you should check it out. Quick read about a boy who is trying to leave his past behind and a girl who loves despite the fact that he is dangerous and believes that he can change.

50. The Reckoning by Kelly Armstrong This is the third book in the trilogy. I enjoyed--the love triangle totally went the way I wanted it to, but I don't think I said what way I thought was, so I'm sure I'm not spoiling it for everyone. While things were semi-resolved they weren't totally in the series, and I was a bit disappointed in the ending. But overall I love the world that ARmstrong has created, since her adult books overlap the YA books in the fact that they both take place in the same world. In the book it mentions that she is doing a new YA trilogy, so that's exciting!

6. Just Listen
7. Going Too Far
8. Along for the Ride
9. Fire--I so love this book
